What’s it like to go Through the Jewish Year with The Aquarian Minyan?
Prayer: Our monthly activities usually include a Kabbalat Shabbat service the third Friday of every month, a Shabbat Day Torah service as well as Community Partnership Shabbat Services with Beit Yakov and the Qirvah Community. Check our Google Calendar for updates!
Community: Monthly events typically include our famous Author Night Series, Poetry Nights, Minyan Sharing led by Marty Potrop, and Shiva Minyans for those in the community as needed, as well as learning opportunities with educators and teachers. We also participate in Community Outreach with The Elders’ Guild and JeWitch Collective. Check our Google Calendar!
The cycle of Sacred Time which is the Jewish Year looks something like this with The Aquarian Minyan:
Slichot - Usually Moetzi Shabbos prior to Rosh HaShanah. We gather together for an approach towards Slichot which incorporates tradition with innovation. This year Slichot is Saturday, September 21. Check our Calendar for information!

Sukkot: It’s a non-stop Ushpizin party! We gather in Open Sukkahs hosted by various members.
Simchat Torah at Kehila with Chochmat HaLev and the East Bay Renewal Community
Chanukkah Nights: We gather to light menorahs and celebrate at different members’ homes
Chanukkah with Starhawk: an annual special event!
Xmas Day: Traditional Jewish Chinese Food Lunch
